EQUIPMENT
All high pressure hydrojetting/ water jetting must be equipped with the actuating devices that require positive effort on the part of the operator (hand or foot) to keep the supply valve open.
Moreover, To the extent practicable, you must comply with the following hose requirements:
- The hose used for high pressure cleaning must have a burst pressure of at least 2.5 times. Intended operating pressure.
- The hose should be labeled with operating pressure, test run date, and expected useful life.
- Hoses with exposed reinforcing wires should be immediately disposed of or repaired.
- Do not use damaged or broken devices. Marked out of service and repaired Organized.
- When laying the hydrojet hose on the floor, avoid damage from constant pulsation. Especially from the corner.
- The coupling must be designed to prevent it from loosening or accidentally loosening during operation.
HAZARDS
High pressure cleaning with hydrojetting / water jet carries a special danger.

PRECAUTIONS
In high pressure cleaning with a hydrojet / water jet the following safety precautions must be observed.
- You must appoint a person responsible for managing all work related to Hydrojet.
- All operating areas must be blocked with appropriate barriers to prevent unauthorized intrusion by unauthorized persons. The sign should be read as DANGER, HIGH PRESSURE JET, GET OUT, STAFF ONLY. Use red and white flags or tapes and signs.
- Access to the area requires the approval of the responsible person.
- All high voltage equipment must be grounded before starting work and during operation to avoid static charges between the lance and the workplace.
- Appropriate personal protective equipment must be worn when operating high pressure water jets. The PPE should include: Helmet, Protective goggles and face protection, Overall PVC full protection or PVC jacket and PVC pants, With proper gloves and Safety footwear.
- All high-pressure equipment should be isolated and decompressed before being left unattended.
